The day curtain GENEVA II is available in 53 stylish colours and complements our bestseller GENEVA Perfect in color. With a wide range of shades, there's a perfect shade for every taste and interior design. The GENEVA II is opaque during the day, yet still allows a view from inside to outside. It also lets plenty of daylight into the rooms and ensures pleasant acoustics.

The curtain fabric is matte, fine-threaded, and semi-transparent. 53 colors are available, ranging from gray to yellow, pink, violet, and black. The day curtain is a perfect interior design element and contributes to pleasant room acoustics.

Curtain gliders & stoppers

The curtain is equipped with the popular Clic gliders. These can be easily clicked into the curtain rail at any desired location.

You can choose between the Swiss MAXI and Swiss MINI gliders. Approximately 99% of curtains in use in Switzerland are made of Swiss MAXI. If you are unsure about the correct gliders based on the description, you can determine with the help of Swiss coins or Order free test gliders here.

Each curtain comes with a few spare gliders and two curtain stoppers. These stoppers can be used to close the openings in the curtain track or to secure the curtains in any desired location on the track.

The Clic gliders and the curtain stoppers are both products of the Swiss quality manufacturer “Hinno”.

Curtain measuring devices

The easiest way to determine the correct curtain height is with a standard double meter, the free vorhangbox-Curtain measuring tape or one Laser measuring device measure up.

Curtain height

Measure from the bottom edge of the curtain rail (A in the illustration) to the floor or windowsill (B in the illustration). Depending on your personal preference, add or subtract a few centimeters from the resulting measurement (C in the illustration):

Minus 2cm: The curtain hangs approx. 1-2cm above the floor (recommendation).
Minus 1cm: The curtain stands on the floor.
Plus 5cm to plus 15cm: The curtain is on the floor.

Enter the value you receive in the “Height/Curtain Height” field when ordering the curtain.

Tip 1: Floors, curtain boards, and ceilings aren't always completely level. Be sure to measure the height in several places.

Tip 2: If you add night or blackout curtains to day curtains, please ensure that the day curtains are about 0.5 cm less high so that they do not show through at the bottom.

Curtain width

Measure the distance you want the curtains to cover.
If the window on the left and/or right is not directly connected to a side wall, the curtain should be at least 20cm wider than the window on each side.

If you want one pair of curtains per window, halve the measured distance by two and order two curtains of that length.

Round the measurement you receive up to the next larger available width and select that.

Amount of substance: You measure the distance to be covered and we automatically calculate how much fabric is needed.

Washing instructions

Curtains should be easy-care or machine washed on a delicate cycle at a maximum temperature of 30°C. Reduce the washing machine load by one-third. Reduce the spin speed. wash: 30°C gentle cycle

To protect the curtain, we recommend removing the gliders before washing. If the gliders are sewn onto the curtain, it's best to place them in a laundry bag or pillowcase. Alternatively, you can also cover the entire curtain in a duvet cover. Make sure the covers don't stain. We're happy to help if you have any questions.

Production and delivery can take approximately 3-5 weeks. We always strive to keep your waiting time as short as possible.

If you select an option with [Express] for "Consumer Type", the delivery time is only 5 working days.

Packaging Our special curtain packaging guarantees transport with as little crease as possible.

Shipping Delivery is via Swiss Post with PostPac Priority. Postage and packaging are CHF 7. Shipping is free for orders over CHF 99.
